Our History
Skillz Education began in September 2017 as SC Tuition, with a simple aim: to help local children feel more confident and supported as they worked towards their GCSEs.
As the service grew, so did the range of learners we supported. In February 2020, SC Tuition became PassMaths, opening its metaphorical doors to adults as well as younger learners and continuing to provide friendly, approachable maths support.
By August 2024, it was time for the next chapter. Skillz Education was born, with a wider vision to move beyond maths and offer support across a range of subjects, qualifications and levels.
The name change over the years, but our purpose hasn’t – to empower our students through innovative, accessible and high-quality educational experiences.
